1. Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

Returns Period: Once you have notified us, you have another 14 days to return the items to our warehouse.
2. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a full refund, items must be:
Unused and in their original, resalable condition.
In the original packaging.
Complete with all parts, fixings, and instruction manuals.
Note: We reserve the right to deduct an amount from the refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by unnecessary handling (e.g., if a canopy has been partially installed or marked).
3. Return Shipping Costs
Customer Responsibility: For returns due to a change of mind or cancellation, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
Bulky Items: As our products (canopies/awnings) can be heavy or bulky, shipping costs may be high. We recommend using a tracked courier service with appropriate insurance.
Collection Service: If you prefer, we may be able to arrange a collection for a fee, which will be deducted from your final refund. Please contact us for a quote.
4. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged or is found to be faulty, please contact us within 30 days under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
In such cases, Canopyman.uk will cover all return shipping costs or arrange a free collection/replacement.
Please provide photographic evidence of the damage or fault when contacting us.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:
Bespoke/Custom Orders: Any products made to specific measurements or custom-ordered colours/specifications.
Items without original proof of purchase.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email notification.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
Refunds typically appear in your account within 5 to 10 working days.
We will refund the basic delivery cost you paid when ordering (if applicable), but not any enhanced delivery options (e.g., Saturday or Next Day delivery).
