45-Degree Rectangular Duct Elbow
45-Degree Rectangular Duct Elbow – Galvanised Steel, Made to DW144
Our 45-degree rectangular duct elbow (45° square duct bend) is used for gentle changes of direction and for offsetting a duct run around beams, pipes and other obstacles. A shallower bend means less turbulence and lower pressure loss than a sharp 90° turn. Fabricated in our Birmingham workshop from galvanised steel, in accordance with DW144 – the UK specification for sheet metal ductwork.

FAQ
When should I use a 45° bend instead of a 90°?
Use two 45° bends to step a duct run sideways or around an obstacle, or wherever space allows a gentler turn – it keeps airflow smoother.
Can you make a size that isn't listed?
